I'm trying to get a rough idea of mobile app development costs. I have a client with a WordPress website, and they want iOS and Android apps that use the site as a backend via API.

The app would include login/register, about 4–5 screens, and some basic features like GPS and camera. Most of the logic would be handled by the server, not the app itself.

I've seen estimates ranging from $50k to $500k, which seems very broad.

For a relatively simple app like this, what would be a realistic development cost and ongoing maintenance cost?
