Setting up LeaveWizard – Basic settings
The Settings page in LeaveWizard allows you to define the essential behaviour of the system. Most of these preferences can remain unchanged and you will still have a very flexible system in your hands however if you wish to understand in-depth how LeaveWizard works we recommend reading further.
We will go through each section on the page to provide a details explanation of what they mean.
Company DetailsThis section allows you to set up the very basic details of your company like name, email address, main location and preferred culture. There's also some useful links to related settings in this section.
Leave Year and Types
This is where you specify the company default leave year and some further settings about date format and type of holiday and public holiday allowance.
This section allows you to specify visibility restrictions, leave types restriction and company wide number of people off at the same time. The last setting can also be set per work group and custom groups.
In this section you can specify approver rules and set up Administrator notification for the various event types.
Here you can set up everything you need to get started with recording and approving Overtime in your organisation.
NotificationsThis is where you can configure the overall setting for notifications, including allowance reports by email and approval reminders.
Here you can enable Bradford factor calculations and specify a start date for them. The results are then visible on the Organisation and User's page.
Room BookingAllows you to enable the room booking functionality. Once enabled it will be available from the Utilities menu.
This section provides some useful links to lists like All Employees, All Locations and All workgroups which are represented in different forms on the Organisation and Users page.
