Performing a bulk upload
LeaveWizard allows you to upload many team member or company event details all at once. This is ideal when you are first configuring your LeaveWizard account and you need to upload all existing staff and leave details.
How do I perform a bulk upload?
Only administrators can perform a bulk upload so the first thing you need to do is log in as an administrator user.
Click on Administration|Organisation and Users tab:
On Clicking the Quickly add Employees button you will get the below screen:
If this is the first time you are uploading employees to LeaveWizard you may want todownload the sample file first. You can use a spreadsheet editor like Excel or any text editor to edit the file and input your employees data. When you have finished editing the file save it and then back in LeaveWizard click the Select button to browse and select your file. You can also modify the welcome email that we are going to send to your new emails or even choose not to send one. When you are ready your screen may look like this
Finally click the Upload button to get your employees imported into LeaveWizard. When the import is finished you will see the results screen which would look similar to the one below.
Uploading Leave Events
In the Administration menu click the Bulk Upload Events link which will take you to a screen like the one below.
Similarly to the Employee bulk upload start by downloading the sample file and then edit the file using MS Excel or just a text editor to add your leave events data. Once you are happy with your file use the Select button on this page to browse and select your leave events file. Finally click the upload button the result would look like this:
