Good point — knowing the difference between gross salary and actual take-home pay really does help employees plan their monthly budget better. For workers in Italy, where taxes and deductions can make the gap between gross and net quite significant, a tool that estimates net salary from gross pay makes this much clearer: https://calcola-stipendionetto.it/ Being able to see the actual amount received each month before planning expenses would be a genuinely useful addition.

When I write a leave notice, I keep it to three parts: a clear subject line with the dates, one short paragraph naming who is covering for me and how to reach them for urgent issues, and a warm closing. Keeping the reason general preserves privacy while still sounding professional and courteous. I've also been sharpening my workplace writing with the business communication guide at Corporate Wire Press (https://corporatewirepress.com/) — genuinely useful for these kinds of emails.
