Showing and hiding allowances and leave details

Different companies place varying levels of importance on the sensitivity of leave types, for example, some companies may want everybody in the company to know about all leave whether it be sickness, unpaid or holiday, whereas others may want line managers to only see sickness details of their team members and not all employees within the company.
LeaveWizard supports this, allowing each leave type to be assigned a visibility rating. This is simply the role level at which the leave type is visible i.e. ‘Administrator’, ‘Team Manager’ or ‘Employee’. If a leave type’s visibility is ‘Employee’ then it can be seen by all employees in the company. If it is set to ‘Team Manager’ then it can only be seen by managers within the company.

It is possible to set the visibility of the entire leave type, the leave type's allowance and the leave request details. Changing these values will have the following impact:
Visible To: Any requests of this type will be visible on leave charts to all users with the selected role
Allowance Visible To: The allowance of this type will only be visible to users with the selected role i.e. you may not want employees/line managers to know what their sickness allowance might be
Details Visible To: The details entered when the leave was requested will only be visible to users with the selected role i.e. the details of sickness may only be visible to Administrators.
