Allowing events to be recorded on non-working days
Sometimes you want to be able to record an event on a non-working day – this might be a trade show or something similar. By default only “Event or Company Event” event types are allowed to be recorded on non-working days but you can change this behaviour by going to the “Administration|Event Types and Allowances” page and on that page click on Edit Event type which will open a page as seen below and checking/un-checking the “Enable Non-Working Days” check box.
If this is setup then the employees allowance will be reduced when the event is recorded on either a working day or a non-working day according to the relevant work pattern.
