Why update the boxes you have already filled in?
Requesting toil. It's late, I have just finished a night shift.
- You log into leave wizard bleary-eyed
- You select Overtime/time off in lieu
- You start off at the top: a. Put in the date you worked b. Put in the number of days c. Select Time and a Half d. I don't get TOIL for a night shift so /I untick the box (AT THIS POINT THE PAGE REFRESHES AND THE BOX ABOVE GOES BACK TO SINGLE TIME!!) d. Quickly put in a few details
- Submit.
Because of that refresh between stages d and e, I have lost a lot…

Improve Staff Leave Planner Functionality in Customer Portal

More Detailed Leave Overview:
It would be helpful to have a clearer, more interactive calendar view showing all team members' approved and pending leaves, including half-day or overlapping leaves. This helps managers better plan team availability.
Leave Cancellation Approval Workflow:
Currently, when staff cancel a previously approved leave, it goes through instantly. I suggest adding an optional setting where cancellations also require manager approval, to avoid scheduling conflicts—especially when cover has…1 vote -

Order by date - by default
Lists which are date-sensitive should automatically be ordered by date, not when something was added. E.g. Dashboard - Who's on leave: this should have the current day at the top, and be ordered by date thereafter. Atm it seems to be ordered randomly, and clicking 'Dates' doesn't re-order. Very frustrating.

Option to remove time for Leave Requests
Capability for Employees to have no Work Pattern especially for Flexi employees. This is mainly for leaves as we have flexi sked, we don't need the exact time for the leaves, only the number of hours are essential.

Custom default work pattern
Set up a custom work pattern that you can copy and paste to other employees would be useful. I had to set essentially the same work pattern up several times over but with a different start day for each employee.
